Don Bivens

Don Bivens is a renowned and trusted trial lawyer for complex cases, representing both plaintiffs and defendants. Outside the court room Don applies his case analysis experience to service as a neutral mediator and arbitrator. Don is on the roster of Fed Arb, a premiere national provider of arbitration and mediation services. He is also on the commercial and consumer panels of the American Arbitration Association. Don is a former Chair of the Section of Litigation of the American Bar Association,. He currently chairs the ABA Center for Innovation;, which among other things tracks the regulatory innovations approved by state courts to provide legal services to more people who need them, but who cannot afford legal services under the traditional ethical rules for lawyers.

Don is the former President of the State Bar of Arizona,, the Western States Bar Conference, and the Maricopa County Bar Association. He is a member of the American Law Institute. Don is the recipient of the Walter E. Craig Award, given once a year to a lawyer who has demonstrated the highest degree of professional performance and community services.

On a pro bono basis, Don is the Chancellor of the Episcopal Diocese of Arizona.
